Testing Services

Hy-Vac's laboratory and management staff includes 2 Full Time Laboratory Technicians with more than 17 years of combined expertise in diagnostic testing services and quality programs. Our state of the art laboratory is equipped to offer diagnostic and microbiology testing services.

Hy-Vac's flock monitoring program and procedures follow the guidelines established in the current Veterinary Biologics Memorandum No. 800.65, National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP) and the European Pharmacopoeia. Hy-Vac's testing program operates according to all current notices put out by the Center for Veterinary Biologics (CVB) and according to the guidelines specified in 21-CFR, Good Laboratory Practices.

Hy-Vac utilitizes such tests as enzyme-linked immunoassay (ELISA), agar gel immunodiffusion (AGP), hemaglutination and inhibiton (HI) and various bacterial culture mediums to ensure SPF status. Virus neutralization will be added as an additional testing service.
